In a hadith narrated from Abdurrahman ibni Avf (Radıyallâhu Anh)

In a hadith narrated by Aisha (Radıyallâhu Anhâ), the Prophet (peace be upon him) about not abandoning the sermon:
He said, "The people of a country where eighteen thousand people who acted like prophets were found were punished."
Companions who heard this said: "How can this happen, O Prophet?" When they said, our Prophet (Salâllâhu Aleyhi and Salam) said: "They will not be angry for Allah (Allah's enemies), even though they continue to worship day by day), He will not command good, he will not end evil (he is a ruler)" he said.
